I won a Make My Day giveaway in November and this is the package I received. 

Palkinto oli nippu osoitekortteja. Etsin korteille vielä sopivaa säilytysrasiaa, mutta ne ovat jo päässeet käyttöön joulukortteja lähettäessä. 

The price was a pack of giveaway cards. I'm still looking for a suitable box for them but I already started using the cards while sending out Christmas cards.

Last month I wrote a blog post about how I make my Youtube art and craft videos . The basics from the filming equipment to camera set-up and editing. I mentioned I'm struggling to film straight down and usually film from the side. I have a cheap tripod, but I can't use it to film straight down, because it will just film its own legs. Desktop monopods allow you to film straight down, but they're pretty expensive so I can't buy one at the moment. However, I decided to try and make my own DIY "monopod". I used this to film most of my Tribal and Gradient Flower Pots video.

A couple of months before my last birthday, I decided I wanted to start making speed painting videos for You T ube and asked for a tripod for my birthday. My first videos turned out to be travel diaries, because those were a lot easier to film. By now I've also made some DIY tutorial and speed art videos and I thought I'd share how I got started with those by using tools I already had or just cheap or free tools.
